PM inaugurates “Namo Hospital” in Dadra Nagar Haveli

    He said that the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu has emerged as an education hub. Earlier I used to be happy to see that four languages ​​including Hindi, Marathi, English and Gujarati are the medium of instruction here. Now I am proud that even in primary and junior schools, children are getting education in smart classrooms. Many years ago, I used to get the opportunity to come here many times. At that time, Silvassa and the entire Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu were so different. People also wondered what could happen in such a small place on the seashore! But I had faith in the capabilities of the people here, I had faith in you.

    He said that after forming the government at the Centre in 2014, our government transformed this trust into strength and took it forward. Today, our Silvassa and this state are emerging with a modern identity. Silvassa has become a city where people from all over are living. The mood here tells how fast new opportunities have developed in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Today, the foundation stone of several projects worth more than Rs 2500 crore has been laid and inaugurated here.

    Inauguration of NaMo Hospital (Phase I) in Silvassa

    Prime Minister Modi officially opened the initial stage of the NaMo Hospital in Silvassa. Valued at more than Rs 460 crore, this 450-bed medical facility aims to enhance healthcare provisions in Dadra Nagar Haveli, with a particular focus on the welfare of the tribal inaugurated the first phase of NaMo Hospital in Silvassa. Built at a cost of over Rs 460 crore, the 450-bed hospital will strengthen healthcare services in Dadra Nagar Haveli, especially in the tribal communities.
