Renowned veteran actor Chandra Mohan bid farewell to this world today at the age of 82. He passed away at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad at 9:45 am due to cardiac arrest. Chandra Mohan was admitted to Apollo Hospital due to a heart attack. He is survived by his wife Jalandhara and two daughters. The last rites will be held in Hyderabad on Monday.
Chandra Mohan is primarily known for his work in Telugu films. He has won a Filmfare South Award and two Nandi Awards. He received critical acclaim for his performances in box office hit films like ‘Rangula Ratnam’. His first Tamil film was ‘Naalai Namathe’ with MGR. He has worked with many leading stars of the South.

On the demise of Chandra Mohan, actor Junior NTR also reacted. Sharing a post, he wrote, ‘I am deeply saddened to see the untimely death of Chandra Mohan garu, who made a special identity for himself by playing different roles in films for decades. My heartfelt condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.’
