Netanyahu said, “Good news will be coming soon.”

    The war between Israel and Hamas has been going on for 46 days. According to a report in the New York Times, both sides may soon announce a ceasefire. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself has said that good news could come soon.

    Netanyahu is going to have a late-night cabinet meeting. All senior officers have also been called. It is being said that Hamas will release 50 prisoners. Israel will also release some Palestinians, including children and women. The duration of the ceasefire is yet to be decided. Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh also indicated a ceasefire.

    During this time, India’s ambassador to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, said that India has always supported the creation of an independent Palestine. She said that India is with every effort being made in the world to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza due to the conflict.

    Meanwhile, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh has said that they are very close to reaching a deal regarding the ceasefire. According to news agency AFP, Haniyeh has stated that they have informed Qatar and other mediators about the deal. Officials from the United States and Qatar have also accepted the possibility of a hostage deal.
